1. Mainnet Sims - Sign Up Now 🚨
You should know the drill by now! The Mainnet Sims are Vega’s next big step before the Alpha Mainnet release. There will be juicy rewards up for grabs, so please Community help us stress-test the network! Sign up for the Mainnet Sims, using this Typeform 🧃
2. Dynamic Validators - Take Part 💻
Alpha Mainnet is in the air, or something like that... As it begins to permeate its way into existence, the Vega network readies itself to welcome new validators and expand the current validator set through the introduction of dynamic validator selection! The newly released blog post covers for the first time in detail, how exactly one can spin up a validator to join the network post-trading go live.

3. Introducing - Vega Bytes 🍔
Throughout the last few months, transparency and communication have become more important than ever given the negativity in the industry. It is of the utmost importance that the Community is kept up to date with the latest things being worked on, and what's left to do before the mainnet code release. Introducing Vega Bytes…
Vega Bytes are a much more consumable, core/DevOps-focused version of the Tech Update (they’ll exist AS WELL AS the monthly Tech Updates). The purpose of Vega Bytes will be to provide insights into what’s happened/happening with timelines, particularly focused on getting trading live. These bite-sized updates will be published on a weekly basis on the Vega Blog (which will act as an omnibus blog) and amplified on Vega channels, as the team want to ensure they’re keeping the Community informed on progress and setbacks as much as possible. 🫡

4. Barney On Cointelegraph - App-Specific Chains ⛓
Since crypto’s inception with the launch of Bitcoin, the blockchain trilemma has been an existential problem for the crypto industry. In particular, the scalability of blockchain technology is a key factor for its future success. This is even more the case if you’re trying to build a permissionless protocol for trading derivatives, which requires a very high throughput network… VEGA! Over the years there have been two central thought streams to solve the issue of scalability: app-specific chains and layer 2 solutions.
Barney’s vision sees a crypto ecosystem that will encompass both, infact he has always been an advocate of a multi-chain and multi-layered crypto infrastructure. His thoughts were posted on Cointelegraph, tap the tweet to read more! 🦔
5. Builders Club - Projects Home Launch 🧰
