🎠 Who doesn’t like a BONUS round? 🎠 Here’s the latest at Vega:

1. Mainnet Sim #4 Bonus - Async protocol upgrade 🛠

Mainnet Simulation 4 has been completed! Whilst we wait for the Wrap-up Blog, here are the latest updates from the Vega Bytes 🍔

Mainnet Sim 4 was extended for a very short bonus round! Why? The Vega project team needed to implement a validator asynchronous upgrade whilst Sims trading activity was present on the network. Once Alpha Mainnet is released, protocol upgrades will happen whenever the network needs to be updated & these will be coordinated by the validators!

If you took part in the Bonus Round and witnessed the network go down, we'd appreciate any feedback on the upgrade so that we can implement improvements. If there's anything you think could be valuable please share 👇

2. New Wallet Release - v0.11.2 👛

The newest version of the Fairground Wallet has been released 👇https://github.com/vegaprotocol/vegawallet-desktop/releases/tag/v0.11.2

Please use the Fairground Wallet for the Fairground network only. The software has been optimized for the network! Frens, don’t forget the following:

4. Local Meet Ups - Seoul, Flynt & Vega+ 🌍

Local meet-ups are a great way to meet and build great IRL relations with the Vega Community. Our second-ever local meet-up occurred in Seoul, South Korea, where local Vega+ Ambassadors tag-teamed with Flynt Finance and Daig to bring Permissionless Market Creation to Seoul! Vega validator, B-Harvest, also turned up and is keen to push Vega out to their communities after trading go-live. 📢

5. ETH Tokyo - Volunteering & Hacking 🍣
